This is a personal piece that brings to life the vague images lingering in my mind. I envisioned a fabric—blue on one side, softly shifting into red with a gentle gradient. That fabric took shape as a flowing, floor-length gown embroidered with gold.
I saw a tall, slender woman wearing this dress, slowly walking somewhere with a firm, heavy step. Unfortunately, I couldn't see her face in that vision, which is why I chose not to depict it in the painting. I captured her from behind, focusing primarily on the dress, as it was its unusual color and design that captivated me most.
I intentionally avoided photorealism, preserving loose strokes and a certain roughness in the artwork—this is exactly how the image came to me. I hope you find the dress just as unique and intriguing.
